We recently had the pleasure of working with local artist John Sparrow, the talent behind Sparrowhawk Art, on a content shoot designed to spotlight his bold, evocative work. If you’re into music or movie culture, chances are you'd recognise his style—vibrant, energetic, and full of attitude.

John's pieces don’t just hang on a wall—they speak. So, when he reached out for a shoot to support his self-promotion and marketing efforts, we knew the content needed to do the same.

The Brief

This wasn’t about snapping a few portraits. It was about building a visual narrative that reflects John’s creativity and gives his audience a peek behind the brush. We shot on location in his studio, surrounded by paint splatters, canvases mid-progress, and music playing on his vintage radio in the background. The vibe was raw, real, and entirely him.

From close-up detail shots of brushwork to moody environmental portraits, our goal was to capture the energy that fuels his process and the passion behind every piece.
